Are there any restrictions on moving the Stop Loss (SL)?
Are there any restrictions on moving the Stop Loss (SL)?

Yes, you cannot move the SL closer than 5 pips from the current price.

Example: Suppose you have an open trade on the EUR/USD pair, and your current SL is set at 20 pips away from the current price. If the price moves in your favor and you want to tighten your SL to protect your gains, you decide to move the SL closer.

However, the closest you can move it is 5 pips from the current price. For instance, if the current price is 1.2050, the closest you can set your SL is at 1.2045.

This restriction ensures that there’s a buffer between the current price and your SL, helping to manage potential market fluctuations.
