Challenge Rules and Objectives - 1 Phase

Understand the rules of the 1 Phase Challenge to trade strategically and meet your funding goals.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

๐Ÿ›‘ 1. Daily Loss Limit

The Daily Loss Limit is set at 3% of the starting dayโ€™s balance or equity (whichever is higher). This prevents excessive losses in a single day.

๐Ÿงฎ How Itโ€™s Calculated:

  • At the start of each trading day, the platform checks which is higher โ€” your balance or equity.

  • 3% is applied to that value.

Example:

If your balance is $10,000 and equity is $10,500, the limit is:
โ€‹$10,500 ร— 0.03 = $315

๐Ÿ“‰ 2. Maximum Loss Limit (Trailing)

Set at 6% of your starting balance, this acts as a trailing drawdown. It adjusts upward as your profits grow, but locks once your account increases by 6%.

๐Ÿ” How It Works:

  1. Starts at 6% of your account balance.

  2. As profits grow, the drawdown trails your balance.

  3. Once your balance grows 6% above the start, the drawdown locks at the original balance.

๐Ÿ“Œ Important Notes:

  • The drawdown updates after closing a profitable trade.

  • Once locked at your starting balance, it no longer increases.

๐Ÿ”ข Examples:

Without Growth:

  • Starting Balance: $10,000

  • Max Loss: $600

  • Account drops below $9,400 = โŒ failed.

With Growth (After Locking):

  • Grows to $12,000 โ†’ Max loss = $2,000

  • Drops to $9,800 after locking = โŒ failed (locked at $10,000)

Before Locking:

  • Account grows to $10,100

  • Drawdown = $600 from $10,100 โ†’ Max loss = $9,500

  • Surpassing $10,600 triggers the lock at $10,000

๐ŸŽฏ 3. Profit Target

To pass the challenge, you must reach 10% profit based on your account size.
