Understand the limit on the total funded account size for the Pro Challenge and how it impacts your trading journey

Updated over a week ago

At TopTier Trader, we provide traders with the opportunity to scale their trading capital while maintaining a balanced and controlled trading environment. To ensure sustainability and fairness, there is a maximum funding limit of $600,000 per trader for the Pro Challenge.

What is the Maximum Funding Limit?

The maximum funding limit refers to the highest total account balance a trader can have across all Pro funded accounts. This means that traders can purchase multiple Pro Challenge accounts, but the combined balance across all active funded accounts cannot exceed $600,000.

How Does Maximum Funding Work?

  • Traders can hold multiple Pro funded accounts, but the total balance across all Pro accounts must not exceed $600,000.

  • Merging is allowed, but only if the accounts have the same add-ons (such as News Trading, Double Leverage, etc.).

  • If a trader reaches the $600,000 limit, they will not be issued any new funded account until they drop below that limit.

Merging Pro Funded Accounts

Traders who meet the merging criteria can combine multiple Pro funded accounts into a single account, provided:

  1. The accounts have the same add-ons – If an account has an add-on (e.g., Double leverage), it can only be merged with other accounts that also have the same add-on.

  2. The total funding remains within the $600,000 cap – The merged account’s balance cannot exceed the maximum funding limit.

  3. Only accounts from the same challenge type can be merged – You cannot merge a Pro Challenge account with a Flex or 1-Phase account.

Merging is an excellent option for traders who want to manage their capital more efficiently, provided they adhere to the conditions outlined above.

What Happens If You Reach the Maximum Funding Limit?

Once a trader’s total funding reaches $600,000, they will not be issued any new funded account until they drop below that limit. However, they may scale within their existing funded accounts.

This funding cap is in place to ensure a structured trading environment, allowing traders to maximize their performance while adhering to risk management principles.
